Softpaw fell asleep and awoke with Blackear beside her. She awaited his news dreadfully.

Blackear looked at her "Softpaw, Autumnwing is growing closer to death." he mewed gently and looked ahead of them.There was a faded image of Autumnwing looking around with uncertain eyes, the scent of Foxclan was very faint on her fur. "Every time she falls asleep she wanders Starclan with uncertainty and confusion, not knowing why she isn't being met by any of us yet is still here. She will soon figure out that she is dying." he mewed again Do you find this valuable? |

Softpaw opened her mouth in a silent wail. "Isn't there a way to stop it? I f-found this flower, there is something special about it, please tell me!" Softpaw cried, tears already were rushing to her eyes.

Blackear's eyes soften "I don't know if it can be stopped before her time is up." he mewed softly "That flower holds the answer yet does not at the same time." he purred

He rested his tail on her shoulder "Who does that flower remind you of?" he quizzed as a copy of the pink flower bloomed at their paws.

He smiled "Pinkflower's heart is connected to Starclan." he purred "Toxicheart's as well, without Pinkflower's help there will be little you can do." he mewed again

"Pinkflower is a gifted cat much like yourself she knows the correct mixture of herbs that will help the ill cats after you cure them to make sure they stay well." he purred

Blackear closed his eyes "Whether she dies from illness or not when she does die she'll leave behind three kits Ferret and Mapple. The third...Dark..." he meowed the last name he spoke his voice held something unreadable something dark
